‘Dir en grey are performing august second…here…in the UK?? ’ I exclaimed leaning over Rad to read the text on the comp and trying to ignore the doubt that there would be no tickets left.

Little did I know, there were 12 left, and we got 2 of them!!!

So there I am, counting down the days from 69 to Diru and it wasn’t until the actual day that it hit me like one of Shinya’s drumsticks in the eye…

I AM GOING TO SEE DIR EN GREY…LIVE!

I woke up bright and early to G.D.S and got ready… putting on my spazmoid jeans and purple hair dye and gel then I legged it downstairs and put on my big tall shoes so that I could see

Then off on the 2 hour journey to London where we had some time to spare before queuing and my mum and Rad wanted to look at the Iman stuff in House of Fraiser when my brother exclaimed ‘who would wanna wear make-up called “Urban Decay”’ and I looked over at the counter to see the most awesome make up and then I ran over and was like ‘do my make up all crazy and black with purple glitter’ and so my eyes looked sexual by the end of it.

Then to the queue where I signed the gift book with ‘DIRU, YOU PWN!!!1’ and also where I met some of the most awesome people in the world. There was Deano who stood on the back of my shoe shouting for Rad before he knew I was related to her which was quite hilarious. Then his mate Ollie who is…short and couldn’t really see until we got to the balcony and then there’s this ridiculously cool guy in front of us who chatted a lot to me and had a Mario sound effects thingy which RAWKED and another guy who gave me a SHINIGAMI-DEATHNOTE HIGH FIVE. Then another guy who built a tower out of empty bottles and glowsticks and who wore a hollow Ichigo sweatband!

Then we got to the hall which was TINY and then the support band came on which sucked then when they came off we all chanted ‘DIR EN GREY DIR EN GREY DIR EN GREY…’ until G.D.S came on and we all went MENTAL!! Me being perfectly on time with the chants and others doing an extra chant which pissed me off . Then they all came on stage and I was only A FEW FEET from Kyo!!!! And that’s when there was a massive surge forwards and I couldn’t see anything and I got crushed to a point where I couldn’t breathe so I was like ‘fuck this’ and legged it up to the balcony where you could see everything and I was like WOOOOOOOOOW!!!

Then there was Kyo and the fish hook which rocked and during GRIEF he sang ‘fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you fuck you’ then screamed and during the ‘fuck you’ parts he stuck his middle finger up at us lot on the balcony and we did it back to him which was hilarious! Then at the end of the most awesome experience of my life, Kaoru looked at me and smiled and threw a pick to us on the balcony which hit my hand fast., then Die looked up and we all screamed, me being the only one to wave, Die looked at me and laughed, then I laughed then he laughed again which was FUCKING AWESOME! And at the end Kyo did it…he got out the RAPE ME bucket and threw the water in it on his head and then left the bucket there, shoving up his fingers at us then he threw the bucket at his red cage thing that he stood on and jumped off loads and spat water at us before he said into the microphone ‘Sayonara’ and dropped it, leaving the stage and all of us in awe. I didn’t get to bed till 4am the next morning
